Hyperspectral Imaging Applications:
Security and Defense

Hyperspectral imaging technology is ideally suited for defense applications and target identification.

Camouflage and target identification

Identification of a camoflauge jacket on a hillside, using a Resonon hyperspectral field scanning system. The top photo is a true-color image of the hillside, and the image on the right is a close-up photo of the jacket. Red arrows point to the location of the jacket.

The bottom image shows the camoflauge jacket, imaged pink by Resonon's Spectronon hyperspectral analysis software.
