Airborne Hyperspectral Imaging Systems

Completely integrated systems providing georegistered hyperspectral data

Resonon's airborne systems are completely integrated turnkey solutions, with all the hardware and software necessary to acquire georegistered hyperspectral data.

Airbone systems include hyperspectral imager, georectification software, data acquisition computer, flexible sensor mounting options, and on-site integration and training services. Systems can be fitted with any of Resonon's hyperspectral imaging cameras covering the 400 - 1700 nm spectral range.

Resonon provides easy-to-use airborne hyperspectral imaging solutions with payloads as small as 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg).

Airborne systems can be mounted on both un-manned and manned aerial platforms.

Resonon's Georectification Software

  • Georectifies Resonon airborne spectral image data to ENVI BIP, KML, and GeoTiff formats.
  • Achieves resolution up to 0.01 meters/pixel.
  • Supports various DEM formats (.tif, .dem, ddf, .adf, .img, .bsq), or a flat-earth assumed altitude.
  • Accomodates installation offsets between GPS/IMU and hyperspectral imager.
  • Works with the SpectrononPro Batch Processor for seamless data post-processing.

Multiple mounting options are available, for UAVs and manned aircraft.

Pushbroom line-scan imaging

Resonon's hyperspectral cameras are line-scan imagers. 2-dimensional images are constructed by translating the sample relative to the camera. This is accomplished in airborne systems by placing the camera in an airplane and scanning the ground below.
